Improved Aerodynamics: Hours of wind tunnel testing and mathematical simulations have reduced aerodynamic drag by 0.2%, a truly significant figure. The head tube and downtube are now narrower, and improved aerodynamics are achieved through optimized details in various areas of the frame.
Increased Lateral Stiffness: The design of the bottom bracket area and the rear triangle has been changed to increase lateral stiffness and pedaling efficiency.
Innovative Materials and Weight: With the MY25, new Torayca M40X carbon fibers have been introduced, reducing the frame kit weight by over 10% (-108g).
Optimized Cable Routing: The new cable routing in the head tube area has allowed for a reduction in the width of the head tube and its aerodynamic footprint. This detail is also linked to the introduction of a new Talon Ultra Fast cockpit, now lighter and more aerodynamic.
Improved Fork: The fork has also been revised, now featuring an ovalized steerer tube that facilitates the new cable routing.
Aesthetics and Functionality: The revised aesthetic solutions also have a positive impact on aerodynamics. Noteworthy is a new seatpost clamp solution and the fairing of the fork tip and rear dropout on the drive side.
New Talon Ultra Fast Cockpit
For the development of the new handlebar, feedback from the team was taken into account. The result is a flare angle in line with current rider and market demands. The entire cockpit shape has been revised: it is now slimmer and lighter, even visually. This was made possible by a new cable routing, no longer lateral to the steerer tube but frontal. In addition, new spacers and a headset have been introduced. The iTalon computer mount design remains unchanged.
Italian DNA
Generation after generation, Pinarello always manages to raise the bar with the Dogma project. Improving a frame already considered perfect is not an easy task. It undoubtedly requires great technical skills and substantial resources, but there is also an intangible component. There is an aura around this competition-destined project that combines design, engineering, and tradition, characteristic of an Italian brand that has been writing the history of cycling for many decades.
